摘要
A theory for a three-dimensional (3D) continuum composed of continuously distributed fibers is presented. General results are derived concerning kinematics, a constitutive equation, the uniqueness of the solution to the equilibrium equations, and convexity conditions. A class of exact solutions is obtained that contains, as a particular case, all homogeneous deformations. (C) 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
