A maximum likelihood based carrier frequency estimation algorithm

摘要：
We propose a new date-aided algorithm for carrier frequency estimation in burst mode phase shift keying (PSK) transmissions. It has a feedforward structure that is easy to implement in digital form. Its estimation range is large, about +/-50% of the symbol rate and its accurate is close to the Modified Cramer-Rao bound(MCRB) for a low signal-to-noise ratio.
