Between verses and strophes: the anarchist press in the Amazon in the 10's of the 20th century

anarchist militants and their press played an important role in organizing Amazonian workers in the 10s of the 20th century. In their print, they used different strategies to train readers, especially workers. Among the strategies used the poems. This article seeks to explore the poems that materialized in the pages of the anarchist press, notably in the newspaper A Lucta Social (1914), demonstrating their pedagogical function. For this, we tried to situate anarchism within Amazonian historiography, its arrival in the Amazon and, finally, the verses and strophes present in the libertarian periodical.
