摘要
The October 2017 Special Issue of IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics presents papers on 'Z-Source Converters: Topologies,Modulation Techniques, and Applications'. Z-SOURCE converter is one of the most important power electronic converters that can be used for ac–dc, ac–ac, dc–dc, and dc–dc conversion. In a paper, the effect of different positions of source placement in the impedance network has been presented. By applying the rule, permissible locations for placing voltage sources have been shown in several structures. In another paper, a three-level quasi-switched boost T-type inverter with a new pulsewidth modulation (PWM) control method has been proposed. In the presented PWM method, the shoot-through duty cycle has remained constant to keep the modulation index as high as possible. Another paper discusses a modified control method based on carrier level shifted has been proposed for a PWM controlled three-phase three-level T-type quasi-Z-source inverter (qZSI). A modulated model predictive control (MMPC) for a Z-source inverter has been presented in one of the papers. The presented method is for the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive system.
