Forty-five species of Macroheterocera belonging to the families Cossidae, Geometridae, Lasiocampidae, Arctiidae and Noctuidae are newly recorded from Cuenca province (Spain) increasing the total number to 546 species. New faunistic data are reported for geometrids such as Eupithecia pauxillaria Boisduval, 1840, arctids as Tyria jacobaeae (Linnaeus, 1758), Diaphora mendica (Clerck, 1759) and Rhyparia purpurata (Linnaeus, 1758), and noctuids as Shargacucullia reisseri (Boursin, 1933) S. scrophulariae (Denis & Schiffermuller, 1775), Actinotia radiosa (Esper, 1804.), Enterpia laudeti (Boisduval, 1840) and Chersotis multangula (Hubner, 1803), and for endemic Iberian species Idaea consaguiberica Rezbanyai-Reser & Exposito, 1992 and I. lutulentaria (Staudinger, 1892).
