摘要
Intelligence may be studied in 2 distinct ways, using a psychometric or a biological approach. The psychometric approach is focused on the assessment of a person's level of mental ability and documents individual differences between people in mental abilities. Biological studies seek those brain functions that cause individual differences in human mental abilities. The lack of overlap between these approaches means that it is unclear what the scores of intelligence tests mean in terms of fundamental biological processes of the brain.
