摘要:
The paper deals with the use of hydrogen mainly as an additive to improve the efficiency and operating characteristics of the combustion engine. Using the home-made electrolyzer measurements were performed which consisted of adding the hydrogen-oxygen gas mixture into the intake of an ignition engine with the aim of observing the effect on its operation and fuel consumption. Measurements were performed both on a closed system of engine-alternator-electrolyzer where the energy required for electrolysis was obtained directly from the fuel consumed, and with an external source of hydrogen.
