摘要
The results presented in this paper stems from work carried out within the framework of the European Project MADAVIC - "Magnetostrictive Actuators for Damage Analysis and Vibration Control". MADAVIC was born from the demand in European industry for new actuators - more powerful, lighter. with lower power consumption and higher reliability. Modelling and design of magnetostrictive actuators are discussed and an application to active vibration control using this kind of actuator is presented.
