摘要：

Australia has had an organized screening program for the prevention of cervical cancer for over 20 years. It has been highly successful with a significant reduction in incidence and mortality from this disease. Recently Australia announced significant changes to its screening program introducing Primary HPV testing. The effect of these changes is far reaching and its success will depend on implementation.
