摘要
Caroline Breese Hall is Professor of Pediatrics and Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry She graduated from Wellesley College and obtained her medical degree from the University of Rochester. Her residency in Pediatrics at Yale University was followed by two NIH fellowships at Yale in Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Virology and in Allergy, Immunology, and Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine, and also a 2-year research fellowship at the Radiation Research Effects Foundation in Hiroshima, Japan. Dr. Hall has served as secretary, treasurer, and president of the Pediatric infectious Disease Society, as well as chair of the Committee on Infectious Diseases (the "Red Book Committee") of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and as a member of the Advisory Committee for immunization Practices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Among the awards Dr. Hall has received are the Clinical Virology Award from the Pan American Society for Clinical Virology and the Distinguished Physician Award of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society.
