摘要
A displacement-type numerical technique for the elastic solution to problem of the interaction between a bar structure and the supporting soil medium is outlined. The behaviour of soil is modelled by means of homogenous, isotropic, elastic half-space, whilst in the structural analysis of the superstructure the very well-known Direct Stiffness Method is used. The Boussinesq and Cerutti force-displacement formulae are utilised to develop the flexibility matrix for the elastic half-space, related to the interaction forces. The combination of the inverse of this matrix with the stiffness matrix of the superstructure, constitutes the stiffness matrix of the whole system. An example is included to illustrate the obtained results.
