摘要
A novel design of reconfigurable antenna with 14 directional patterns is presented. Pattern selection is accomplished by the adoption of 4 quasi-Yagi antenna elements and 8 RF switches. The proposed design features simple control scheme, high front-to-back ratio, compact size, and planar structure. Measured results indicate that the proposed antenna can offer an overall power efficiency of around 70%, antenna gain of similar to 3.5 dBi, and impedance bandwidth of about 10%.
