摘要
A study is presented of the nonlinear behaviour of a system of ductile steel plates subjected to bending cyclic loads which could be used as a seismic damper. Evaluation is carried out through laboratory tests, and a nonlinear analytical model is presented. The mechanical properties and deformation capacity of dissipation of the system of steel plates are determined from the experimental data, and a mathematical technique is proposed to fit the data to an analytical model. The results show that, using this technique, the hysteretic model proposed can predict the force-displacement relationship of the plates and the hysteretic energy dissipated by the nonlinear behaviour of the plates.
