摘要
A series of 4'-(5-Amino-6-chloro-2-substituted-benzoimidazol-1-ylmethyl)]-biphenyl-2-carboxylic acid side chain in the 2 position have been synthesized from substituted compounds [1-14] compounds aromatic aldhyde, ayl, alkyl groups and tested for antihypertensive activity in induced hypertensive rats. All the compounds have been found to be less active than Losartan, Telmisartan their structures were assigned with elemental analysis, melting point and spectral analysis like (I)R, (1)H NMR, (13)C NMR and EI MS
