摘要
In this paper, stimulated Brillouin scattering techniques were introduced, given the principle of fiber optic temperature measurement use of stimulated Brillouin scattering. We use BOTDR (Brillouin optical time domain reflectometer) equipment to measure fiber Brillouin signal of the same outdoor unit 17 of OPGW (optical fiber composite overhead ground wire), as a comparison we calibrated the temperature 900um tight clad optical fiber calibration. Through experiment we compared the temperature coefficient of Brillouin scattering frequency shift and basic frequency shift of different fiber in the same optic cable, analyzes the reasons for the differences.
