摘要
This paper presents a new time-domain analysis of the nonlinear loaded transmission lines, which are excited by the external EM uniform plane wave illumination. In this paper, the linear equations of the transmission lines in the presence of the external incident EM field are first developed, and after incorporation of these equations with the state equations of the nonlinear load, a set of time-domain differential equations are generated. Finally, the derived equations are solved by applying the finite difference time domain (FDTD) method. The proposed algorithm is applied for the analysis of radiated susceptibility in a Schottky detector circuit as a nonlinear loaded transmission line. A measurement system is also used, which consists of a transverse electromagnetic (TEM) cell for generating uniform electromagnetic fields. Furthermore, the analytical results are confirmed by comparing it with the experimental results. The paper method is useful for investigating the effects of the incident EM wave illumination on the linear/nonlinear transmission line networks.
