摘要
In this paper, we presented an all-optical processing based on integrated optics. The two dimensional (2D) Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) applied on the data block of an image to implement a lossy compression method. Then, an all-optical Haar Wavelet transform device designed that is able to apply the DWT. In the end of the paper, a small part of the DWT image retrieved the so called "Scaling image", to investigate the possibility of a lossy compression method between optical devices using a 3dB coupler in the C Band wavelength.
