摘要
Genetic control of Fusarium wilt in common bean The purpose of this study was to determine the genetic control of common bean resistance to pathotype FOP 46, Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. phaseoli and estimate the genetic parameters of disease resistance. In greenhouse, the resistance evaluations were conducted in F-2:3 families from crosses Milionario 1732 x Macanudo and FT Taruma x Macanudo. Disease severity was evaluated 12 days after inoculation using a scale ranging from 1(no symptoms of wilting) to 9 (plants totally wilted and/or dead). The observed frequency of susceptible and resistant F-2:3 plants derived from selfing of F-2 plants from the cross Milionario 1732 x Macanudo and FT Taruma x Macanudo indicated one major gene effect with incomplete dominance. The appearance of transgressive genotypes in family F2:3 suggests the oligogenic nature of resistance to Fusarium wilt. High heritability and prediction of selection gain were estimated for both crosses.
