摘要：

A quasilinear second-order elliptic equation is solved using some results from the qualitative theory of autonomous ordinary differential equations. In particular, a positive radial supersolution and a positive radial subsolution are constructed, and the existence of a positive solution that is squeezed from the supersolution and the subsolution is established.
