摘要
In this paper, a switched-reluctance motor (SRM) drive powered by switch-mode rectifier (SMR) is first established. Then its control and performance evaluation in line drawn power quality improvement and vibration reduction are made. The sophisticated current and voltage controls for SMR are made to let the DC-link voltage be well-regulated and controllable. The line drawn current possesses high power quality, and the motor vibration is also reduced due to the smaller DC-link voltage ripple. For further reducing the vibration and acoustic noise of SRM their sources and the existing remedies are first explored, and then a hybrid approach combining current tail profiling and commutation instant advancing is developed. It can yield reduced vibration and improved energy conversion efficiency, simultaneously. Validity of the proposed control approach is demonstrated experimentally.
