Experimental study of pressure generated by gas explosion

摘要
By measuring the propagating flame's intensity and pressure of gas explosion in a horizontal tube, the pressure structure and its varying law are experimental studied. It is found that under the condition of gas deflagration there were a series of precursory compressive waves ahead the flame and there were many peaks in the waves. The maximum explosion pressure value was not behind the flame but in the flame region. And there were also many pressure peaks in the waves within the flame. The shorter, the lasting time and the length of the flame, the-bigger the overpressure peaks, and, the fewer peaks the, waves have. This pressure structure and its varying law were generated by the property of high cohesive force possessed by the flame and the unstability of the propagating flame speed.
