Concentration-wave analysis of atomic pair correlations disordered ternary alloys: Application to Cu2NiZn

摘要
We outline the use of the method of concentration waves to analyze the atomic pair correlations in disordered ternary alloys. We present an analysis of the correlations in the disordered state of Cu2NiZn calculated by first principles. The correlations in the disordered state are found to be a precursor to the partially-ordered state observed experimentally.
