摘要：
We recorded that the hydrological and thermic regime of the river basins bound up with certain geomorphological barriers (lowlands and river valleys) plays a decisive role in the distribution of stoneflies in mountain regions of Slovakia. Considering stonefly distribution we have distinguished 5 regions within the territory of Slovakia. We have observed vicariances between several related species, the occurrence of which is limited to characteristic regions of she Carpathian province.
