摘要：

Two high-resolution neutron diffractomers dedicated to strain/stress investigations in polycrystalline materials are routinely operated at the medium-power reactor LVR-15 in REz and are also opened for external users. Good luminosity of the diffractometers and a sufficiently high-resolution (FWHM of the instrumental Delta dd - profile can be less than 2 x 10(-3) at d(hkl) = 0.2 nm) permit investigations of both the macro- and microstrains in the sample gauge volumes of several cubic millimetres. Excellent properties and abilities of the neutron diffraction strain scanners are documented by some results of experimental measurements.
