摘要
During the Modern Era, the Blaj School for Girls was one of the most important Romanian educational institutions in Transylvania. Its curriculum ensured that the girls received both the education required by their role in society-as future wives and mothers-and training in the sciences. Its presence alongside the local schools for boys turned the town of Blaj into a true center of Romanian culture.
