摘要
Present paper utilizes the concept of stationary plane based control approach for Permanent Magnet ( PM) Brushless (BL) DC motor to ensure proper injection of phase currents. Depending on the speed of the motor falling in low or high speed zone, current trajectory deviates from the regular hexagon nature. Trajectory of the current vectors are forced to follow the regular hexagon by applying the most appropriate voltage vector. To demonstrate the methodology simulation results are shown for a 2kW surface mounted in-wheel PM BLDC drive employed for an electric scooter.
