Thermosensitive hydrogels were prepared by graft polymerization of chitosan and N-isopropylacrylamide via Co-60 gamma-radiation. The effects of monomer concentration and total irradiation dose on percent grafting and grafting efficiency were studied. The thermosensitivity and swelling properties of the hydrogels were investigated.
