摘要
A 20 Gbit/s spatial division multiplexing (SDM) transmission platform is built with the two-mode fiber (TMF) of 12 km length. And the transmission performance of this platform is investigated through measuring the dependency between the signal quality and the launched power. A novel voltage-driven fiber expander-based crosstalk suppression scheme is proposed, and a 5.51 dB Q-factor improvement is achieved with the driving voltage of 150 V.
