摘要：

Listeria monocytogenes endocarditis is rare. The authors report a case involving a porcine prosthetic valve in an immunosuppressed patient, Eight blood cultures developed L. monocytogenes. The culture of the resected cardiac valve was positive after six weeks of antibiotics (thiophenicol-gentamicin and vancomycin-gentamicin). Cure was obtained after surgical therapy and medical therapy (five months).
