摘要：

The characteristic features of Miakron-2000 cetane number (CN) of the diesel fuel (DF) in internal combustion engines, were investigated. A CN-increasing additive, Miakron-2000, based on 2-ethylhexyl nitrate, which is a compound widely used for increasing the CN was developed by the specialists from the Yunikoil group of companies (GC). Miakron-2000 is a combustible, nonexplosive liquid which does not spontaneously ignite in normal conditions. Industrial manufacture of Miakron-2000 additive was organized in the working areas of Yunikoil GC in Biysk using domestic feedstock and auxiliary materials.
