Industrialization policy is one of the main goals of developing a country. These policies include not only economic considerations, but also social and environmental issues. Therefore, in order to identify the industrial development potential of Qeshm Island, a multi-criteria evaluation method based on fuzzy logic and analytical network process was used. In this research, the criteria influencing the ecological capability evaluation to identify the potential of industrial development include ecological and economic parameters that were identified by Delphi method. In order to conduct the research, first, the digital layers and required data were obtained from databases and field observations in the study area, and the criteria and indicators were quantized and normalized by fuzzy method. The weight of factors was also determined by analytical network process. Then, using the weighted linear combination, all information layers were integrated in the GIS (10.3), and the final map of the location of industrial sites was prepared. The results revealed that the economic and social parameters with the weight of 0.65 have the most effect on locating the industrial sites of the region, and the land use index with the weight of 0.227 (among socioeconomic criteria) and the fault index with the weight of 0.123 (among ecological criteria) are among the most important indexes in locating industrial sites in the region. The ROC method was used to assess the accuracy of the research. The results showed that the ROC value was 0.907, which indicates the efficiency of the model used in the research.
