The consequences of globalization. A sociological review of the concept

This article aims to build a sociological reflection about globalization, undoubtedly one of the concepts most used in the vast field of human and social sciences over the last three decades. The analysis is conducted based on the theoretical view of authors who, in a more or less profound way, dedicated themselves to the analysis of this subject. For this, six axes of reflection were chosen: 1-globalization and economy; 2- globalization and State; 3- globalization and time-space relations; 4-globalization and culture; 5- globalization and the world of work; 6- globalization and education. This work aims to reflect, although briefly, on the consequences of the forces of the global era on these different dimensions of social life.
