摘要
A novel low-profile Fabry-Perot resonator antenna (FPRA) is presented in this paper, which can achieve high gain and wide bandwidth simultaneously in K band. Two frequency selective surfaces (FSSs) and double-layered dielectric substrates are combined as a Partially Reflective Surface (PRS) which can increase the reflection amplitude of PRS so as to improve gain and produce a positive reflective gradient to enhance the bandwidth of the FPRA. Compared with the conventional wideband FPRA, this novel FPRA only has one air-cavity which reduces the profile of the prototype. The measured and simulated results demonstrate that the antenna has a stable and flat gain which is about 14.2dBi. And the relative bandwidth is 15% when the gain-drop below 3dB and the reflection coefficient is less than 10dB.
