摘要
This paper reports the development and validation of a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) up-scaling approach to predict wit a porous media approximation the heat transfer efficiency of arbitrary randomly packed bed tubular reactors. The results demonstrate the feasibility to predict the flow, temperature and global heat transfer with macroscopic simulations with a good accuracy.
