Synthesis and characterization of some dinuclear tetraaza macrocyclic complexes of copper(II)

摘要
The template synthesis of dimetallic macrocyclic copper(II) complexes of 1,5,7,11-tetraaza-6,6,12,12-tetrachlorocyclododecane (TTDE) ([Cu-2(TTDE)(H2O)(4)]Cl-4 . 8H(2)O), 1, 5, 8, 12-tetraaza-6, 7, 13, 14-tetrachlorocyclotetradeca-6, 13-diene (TTTD) ([Cu-2(TTTD)(H2O)]Cl-4 . 16H(2)O) and 1,5,8,12-etraaza-6,7,13,14-tetrachlorocyclotetradecane (TTTE) ([Cu-2(TTTE)(H2O)(4)]Cl-4 . 8H(2)O) involving condensation of 1,3-diaminopropane with the tetrachlorocarbons carbon tetrachloride, 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethylene and 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane, respectively, is being described. The metal-free macrocycle hydrochloride TTDE.4HCl has also been isolated. The macrocyclic compounds have been characterized by analytical and spectral studies.
