Dynamic behavior of truss-core sandwich panel as an orthotropic thick plate

摘要
A novel truss-core structural sandwich form is introduced in this paper. This three-dimensional panel is synthesized as an equivalent two-dimensional homogeneous orthotropic thick plate continuum, and represented by seven elastic constants. This technique requires considerably less computational effort than three-dimensional analysis. Using these equivalent constants, a closed-form solution for the free vibration response of clamped truss-core sandwich panels is presented. Numerical examples show that the closed-form solution is in excellent agreement with finite element results.
