摘要：

Service platform server and its application software in the ATM switching system were implemented to provide various multimedia interactions, especially VOD and Internet services. And, the detail technologies of the networks, protocols, interfaces, configurations of the ADSL system were explained, along with the maximum transmission distance from subscribers to the switching systems with existing twist pair cables.
