摘要：

The article proposes a new attribution to Jacopo de' Barbari, the famous painter ed engraver of the Italian and German Renaissance. The Portrait of an architect, recently discovered, is an important addition to his existing pictorial catalogue. The painting was created when Jacopo de' Barbari was in Germany, after 1500, at the beginning of his increasing international career. We are also able to identify the subject with a well-known architect cited in many sources.
