摘要
The formative evaluation is very important in the teaching-learning process, especially the feedback of knowledge that permanently verifies the progress of the student and even more so in times of pandemic where there was an abrupt transition from face-to-face teaching to remote teaching, making the evaluation of the teaming is even more complex. The present investigation determines preliminarily the level of the formative evaluation in the area of mathematics in students of Regular Basic Education. The method used in the research was comparative, to establish the possible similarities or differences to be found, using the quantitative approach with a non-experimental design. The information was obtained using a survey, applied to students in the area of mathematics. Preliminary results show significant differences in the formative evaluation of students in the area of mathematics from public educational institutions.
