摘要
The electric vehicle (EV) is one of the promising technologies that is rising rapidly on a large scale across the globe in recent years. The uncoordinated charging of these EVs from the power grid is also enhancing the complexity in the operation of the power system. In this paper, a consumer-friendly electric vehicle charging scheme for residential consumers is proposed. The proposed scheme is comprised of a valley-Filling and reallocation algorithm. The valley filling algorithm allocates the day-ahead time slots along with a block meter tariff rate available for EV charging for the customers. Simulation results show that the proposed methodology is superior to the uncoordinated EV charging system. Moreover, in comparison to existing coordinated charging schemes, the proposed method addresses customer preference by introducing tariff and time-slot based EV shifting.
