摘要
This paper presents a design of 2 x 2 and 2 x 2 MIMO antenna arrays for 5G wireless communication. The proposed two MIMO operate on the 28 GHz mm-wave band and they have wide operation bandwidth of 5 GHz with high gain performance over the entire band. The single element antenna that is used in the design of both MIMO antennas consists of two layers where the first layer is the feeding layer and the second layer is the radiating layer. The radiating layer comprises of a 3D printed slot surrounded by cavity and corrugations to improve the gain of the antenna.
