摘要
This paper presents the design and implementation of a thin-film cost-efficient integrated compact analogue phase-shifter exploiting a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) graphene-insulator-metal diode. The first fabricated prototype occupies less than 0.42 mm(2) of chip area including pads. The characterisation of the fabricated circuit demonstrates S-11 better than -12 dB for the frequency band from 25 - 35 GHz with a tunable phase difference (Delta phi) of 24 degrees. The presented substrate-independent thin-film technology enables the realisation of robust low-cost phase arrays for a wide-range of intelligent surfaces applications.
