摘要
This paper presents a discussion on Permanent Magnet Assisted Synchronous Reluctance (PMASR) motors and their suitability for electric vehicle applications. The paper describes the methodology and the procedure used for experimental identification of the PMASR motor model. The paper further discusses important aspects of PMASR drive development and presents experimental results. The results shown in the paper illustrate a positive effect of the correct model identification on the drive performance.
