Magnetic and electrical properties of UCu5-xNix

摘要
We have performed a study of the electrical resistivity and the magnetic susceptibility of UCu5-xNix. For x = 1 our measurements do not show any evidence of magnetic order down to a base temperature of T = 0.4 K, and the observed temperature dependences are not the expected for a Fermi liquid. For x = 0.5, strong irreversibility between ZFC and FC magnetization measurements is observed, suggesting spin-glass or cluster-glass behaviour. These results are discussed considering the possibility of a non-Fermi-liquid ground state for UCu4Ni. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
