摘要：

A workshop titled "OR2020: Operating Room of the Future" was held in March 2004 to define the integrated systems and general character of the operating room of the future, with the year 2020 as a target timeframe. Approximately 100 invited experts including physicians, engineers, and operating room personnel attended the workshop. Prior to the workshop, a questionnaire was sent to all participants, and the results of that questionnaire are presented here. (C) 2004 Published by Elsevier B.V.
