摘要
The high-temperature forming of metals has been analyzed previously in terms of the dissipator content and the dissipator co-content. Because of the recent interest in this approach, which involves predicting the temperature and strain rate ranges over which optimum workability is expected to be attained, this paper re-examines the foundations of this analysis and considers how it can be given a physical interpretation.
