摘要
In this paper a new safety system is proposed to eliminate the risk of workers falling from different heights while engaged during the set out of the formwork, one of the most common dangers in the building industry. The system is attached to the concrete columns, which makes it necessary to determine the requirements of concrete in the columns so that the system can be operated in safety, both for the workers and for the integrity of the column itself. An experimental and numerical study was carried out, as well as a maturity study, in order to establish the mechanical parameters required by the concrete forming the columns. (c) 2006 Elsevier Ltd.
