摘要
Image retrieval method based on back-projection with histogram matching is proposed. The distance measures are compared among correlation, Chi-square, intersection, and Bhattacharrya. Through preliminary experiment, it is found that the most appropriate distance measures are Chi-Square or Bhattacharrya, which depends on the nature of the images in concern though. Also it is found that image retrievals with back-projection does works almost 100% in terms of success ratio.
