摘要
This paper is aimed to exhibits application results of Voltage Sourced Inverters (VSI) when they are integrated as components of power devices such as the Static Synchronous Series Compensator (SSSC) and the Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM). The devices are inserted in a power grid with the purpose of assessing their performance and their advantages like elements of the system. Some of their qualities under balanced and unbalanced conditions are exemplified in a small test net, where their more outstanding characteristics are emphasized.
