Oxidation of CO over supported La-Sr-Cu mixed oxide catalysts

摘要
The La2-xSrxCuO4(0.4less than or equal toxless than or equal to1.0) mixed oxide catalyst with the K2NiF4 structure supported on mullite (28similar to50 mesh) was prepared by the citrate method and calcination at 650 degreesC. The crystal structure and surface morphology of the catalyst were characterized by XRD and SEM. The catalytic performance of the catalyst for the CO oxidation was tested in a fixed-bed reactor. The results showed that the ignition temperature was low, higher catalytic activity could be obtained when X = 0. 8 similar to 1. 0, and the conversion of CO reached 100 % at 300 degreesC. The regeneration test of a spent FCC catalyst CRC-1 in a fluidized-bed reactor was carried out using the La2-xSrxCuO4 /mullite catalyst as the combustion promoter. The results showed that the catalyst with x = 0. 8 was optimal, the relative oxidation activity R (defined as CO2 /CO ratio) was 488, and the relative conversion of CO reached 99.5 %.
